🛰️ Cybersecurity belongs in orbit.

At this week’s BaltiQC ZIM Network Meeting in Berlin, discussions focused on the future of secure communication technologies, including quantum-safe approaches and post-quantum cryptography (PQC).

One insight stood out clearly:

🔐 Advanced cryptography is meaningless if the underlying space systems are not secure. Cybersecurity is not a feature: It is infrastructure.

At Quantum Galactics, our core focus is not quantum communication itself.
Our focus is building:

  • Cybersecure CubeSat platforms
  • Robust, flight-proven space systems
  • Linux-based on-board computing (#CyBEROBC)

These systems can serve as in-orbit testbeds for advanced cybersecurity concepts, including PQC and other future-proof cryptographic approaches.

With CyBEEsat, launching soon on an upcoming Isar Aerospace Spectrum flight, we demonstrate together with our partners—the Chair of Space Technology (TU Berlin), the Universität Potsdam and the Berlin Nanospacecraft Alliance—how secure-by-design computing can operate reliably in space.

Cybersecurity is not an afterthought. It is architecture.

Thank you to OpTecBB, BERLIN QUANTUM and EurA AG for organizing this event. Special thanks to Frederick Vinzent and Jose M. Brito, Ph.D for the invitation and excellent exchange.

The future of space infrastructure will be secure, modular, and resilient.
We are building exactly that.
